AOL's evil is largely self-explanatory. There's not much I can say about 'em that hasn't been said better elsewhere. And by now (unless this is your first time using the Internet) you've undoubtably heard everything you need to know about their monopolistic, homophobic, prudish, and ad-laden tendencies.

However, I have uncovered a partial list of words the ICQ server blocks from user info, which I haven't seen elsewhere. The following words don't work in ICQ nickname, first name, or last name fields. (Tested using both CenterICQ and micq, so it's probably not client-specific). If anyone has any more information on AOL/ICQ word/phrase filtration, feel free to email it to me.
