If you plan to forget your password, you will need to prove your identity to collect a new password. Email is not a secure identity-verifier. Password reminders are either really obvious ("What's your pet's name?" was actually *recommended* by one prominent and brain-damaged megacorp) or suffer from eminent forgettability. Collection of personal info is pointless, as anyone wanting to spoof you can collect your vital statistics and enter them into a form. On the other hand, nude pictures work just fine for verification: if you forget your password, all I have to do is compare you to the image.
