Imposition of order:

As creator of the Asynchrone Vortex, I shall steer its course. This may
include deletion, modification, perversion, folding, spindling, and/or
mutation of anything in it. It may also include alteration of the
metasystems which encapsulate it.

Prior Restraints: Do not attempt to spread the chaos into areas
I have allocated to order.
Do not attempt to use the Vortex for profit.

¿Help?

The Vortex is composed of nodes - individual HTML files. At the present phase, anyone can edit any node.

The Creatrii field contains the identificator of the creat{rix,or,ii} of the node. As the Vortex expands and gets further away from its creation-point, the intravortexissimal forces will split, much as those of the external universe did.

¿help? links will appear in various places. (some year soon...). They should usually give help on whatever option (or error message) they're appearing next to. If you need help on something else, Ask.

Warnings and Disclaimers

The Empire is not responsible for the content of the nodes. Nodes are made available immediately after creation. If you believe a node violates Imperial commands, report it to the Imperial Enforcers. If you don't like a node, but it doesn't violate Imperial laws, take it up with the node's creatrii.

Users of buggy Java or Javascript interpreters are advised to turn Javascript and Java off. Otherwise, you risk system crashes caused by bugs in node creatrii's code and/or DOS attacks from crackers. This is not limited to the Vortex Asynchrone - all software has bugs, and some has LOTS of bugs. Closed-source programs are particularly vulnerable to bugs and backdoors, as the only third-party review of the code will be crackers poking it with a disassembler. Netscape and IE have security holes suitable for driving trucks through...

What went before

The vortex uses technology fine-tuned in the laboratories of Advanced Dogmatic Studies. It has also been rumoured to flonk.
